Vietnam’s Ministry of Science and Technology (MST) has published Circular No. 41/2025/TT-BKHCN on November 30, 2025, following a public consultation on the technical regulation for radio access equipment operating in the 6 GHz band.
The Circular introduces QCVN 136:2025/BKHCN, a new mandatory technical regulation applicable to 6 GHz wireless devices. The regulation will enter into force on January 1, 2027, at which time the previous standard QCVN 47:2015/BTTTT will be withdrawn.
Manufacturers and importers should begin aligning product testing and certification strategies to ensure continued market access in Vietnam.
