A local representative in Chile is required to manage the certification process and act as the responsible party for commercialization. - Submit technical documentation
Include test reports, user manuals, product photos, technical specifications, and foreign conformity certificates (e.g., FCC, CE). - Perform conformity testing (if applicable)
SUBTEL accepts reports from internationally recognized laboratories but may request local testing depending on the frequency band used. - Apply for certification through SUBTEL
Applications are submitted electronically through SUBTEL’s online platform. Once approved, the product receives a homologation number. - Mandatory labeling
Certified products must display the SUBTEL approval mark, including the homologation number and the holder’s name.
