Mexico’s Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFETEL) has officially announced new labeling requirements in the Diario Oficial de la Federación (DOF). The new IFETEL logo and certification number will be mandatory on all telecom and radiofrequency products starting July 1, 2025.
If the device is too small to display the logo and number physically, manufacturers may include this information in the user manual, packaging, or embedded software interface.
Manufacturers and importers should ensure product designs and documentation comply with these updated rules before the enforcement date.
