Brazil’s telecommunications sector began 2026 with the consolidation of regulations that make independent audits of the Cybersecurity Policy (PSC) mandatory for all suppliers of equipment used by telecom operators. Equipment without a cybersecurity conformity certification issued by recognized entities may no longer be deployed in Brazilian networks, strengthening overall network security and increasing the technical accountability of suppliers.
