Anatel has launched Public Consultation No. 12/2025 to modernize certification labels for telecommunications equipment, aiming to strengthen the identification and traceability of devices such as mobile phones, routers, and drones.
The initiative addresses weaknesses in the current model, which has been vulnerable to counterfeiting and unauthorized reproductions, enabling non-compliant products to enter the Brazilian market. Proposed solutions include dynamic QR codes, electronic labels (e-labels), direct product marking, and enhanced security features.
Public contributions are open through the Participa Anatel platform, reinforcing transparency, market surveillance, and regulatory compliance.
